FITREC’s Inaugural Awards Program
The FITREC awards have been created with a very clear intention: to recognise excellence in our industry in a way that is transparent, meaningful, and grounded in real-world impact.
Rather than relying solely on subjective opinion, our FITREC Awards are based on measurable data captured through FITREC services over the previous 12 months, combined with the voice of our professional community.
The health and fitness industry is full of passionate, committed professionals, educators, students, and suppliers who quietly raise standards every day. The FITREC Awards exist to shine a light on that work; to acknowledge those who actively invest in their professional presence, engage with the community, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to quality and accountability.
At their core, these awards highlight the value of professional registration. They reinforce why visibility, verified credentials, ongoing development, and community contribution matter; not just for individual careers, but for the credibility of our entire industry. By recognising achievement through profile engagement, kudos, content quality, education outcomes, and community participation, we are celebrating behaviours that strengthen trust across the sector.
Importantly, the FITREC Awards are not just about recognition. They are designed to encourage growth. Inspiring professionals to build stronger profiles, students to enter the industry with confidence, educators and suppliers to share knowledge, and the broader community to actively support one another.
Our hope is that these awards become something the industry genuinely values: a benchmark of professionalism, a celebration of contribution, and a reminder that when we lift standards together, everyone benefits.
THE AWARD CATEGORIES
OUR FITREC PROFESSIONAL AWARDS are based on page visits, kudos, profile content and input from the FITREC community. Categories include:
- 300 Rated Award
- FITREC Professional Award
- FITREC Rookie Award
OUR FITREC EDUCATOR AWARDS are based on course reviews, FITREC registered alumni and voting from amongst our FITREC community.
OUR FITREC SUPPLIER AWARDS are based on frequency and calibre of content contributions as voted by the FITREC team, article views on Raising the Bar, and voting from amongst our FITREC community.
OUR HALL OF FAME AWARD. Unlike the other award categories, which rely on related statistics, this award will be selected and conferred at the discretion of the FITREC team, with input from the FITREC community.
